Android phones can share Wi-Fi: join a network, then re-share it as a hotspot. It sidesteps captive portals, one-device plans, guest-network isolation, and can route everything through Tailscale. Often replaces a travel router; iPhone still can’t re-share Wi-Fi as a hotspot.
