Skynet updates

After having two weird errors with my Ring Video Doorbell 4, I decided to bite the bullet and convert completely to Google #CaveInToTheOverlord. The new Video doorbell from Google has been flawless and despite the doorbell being somewhat recent a purchase, I’m glad I switched. I also took the opportunity to hook up a few more cameras for security and the setup has been flawless. Google Home/Nest is working out pretty well so far.

🇮🇳 Trip

After 4.5 years, I went back to visit India (hometown Chennai). It’s been a pleasure spending time with the folks, especially after so long. I did the not-so-wise thing of working remotely and dealing with the timezones has been brutal, especially when I have to sync up with both folks on the west (PST) & east (EST) costs.

🎾 Tennis

My older brother and I used to go to the local YMCA and learn tennis at a young age. We were pretty decent at the time but then just totally stopped after Grade 9 (?). After all these years, we decided to pick it back up given the bay area has some beautiful tennis courts around. It’s been a lot of fun. Additionally, when we went back to India and spent sometime together, we decided to pick up a few lessons from a Tennis coach and it’s done wonders again to improve our strokes/game. This was a win. I even managed to snag a new Solinco1 during the trip.
